Forged Through Recovery
Aaron
Foundry Bodyworks was built from a simple realization: recovery isn't a luxury — it's a necessity. Aaron's journey began long before deciding to become a massage therapist. As a U.S. Army Infantryman, he experienced the physical and mental demands that come with service, including a severe back injury during deployment.
Like many others, he spent years focused on pushing harder, working longer, and enduring discomfort because that's what strength looked like. Eventually, he learned that real strength isn't found in how much punishment you can take — it's found in how well you recover from it.
After leaving the military, Aaron spent almost 15 years doing physically demanding work while continuing to deal with chronic aches, injuries, stress, and the invisible weight of PTSD. Fitness became an important part of his recovery, but over time he discovered something equally powerful: the ability to slow down, restore, and listen to what his body was telling him.
That discovery led him to massage therapy. Through massage, mobility work, and intentional recovery practices, he began experiencing benefits that went far beyond physical relief — better movement, better sleep, better focus, and a greater sense of calm and control over his mental health. It allowed him to show up in his two most important roles: being both a husband and a father.

Philosophy
The Body & Mind Are Connected
What I learned is that the body and mind are deeply connected. When the body is constantly tense, guarded, and in pain, the mind often follows. When the body begins to recover, the mind has an opportunity to recover as well.
Aaron's goal is to help people move better, feel better, and recover from the demands of everyday life — whether those demands come from work, training, parenting, or simply the stress of being human. Every session is focused on helping clients reduce tension, improve mobility, support recovery, and create lasting resilience.
